When I was 5, I thought lemonade stands were too cliché. I decided to pick gravel rocks out of the driveway and sell them for a nickel apiece. That started my love for entrepreneurship! When I was a teenager, I started a pet-sitting business and a horse-riding business, and then moved into launching a specialized nanny agency at the age of 25. Within 5 years, I was managing a staff of 50 and business had grown substantially. The part I really loved wasn't so much the particular industry, it was the challenge of making the business successful. So over the next several years I focused on coaching small businesses and nonprofits and continuing to learn how to take a small business and make it thrive.
Whatever your next big idea is, I can't wait to be a part of helping to shape it into a reality!

"What will it take to make that happen?" My dad posed this question to me after I, a dreamy-eyed highschooler, told him I wanted to be a professional basketball player. Clearly, upon doing some basic research, I realized I didn't have the height (nor talent) to back my passion for the game. So, I pursued another passion: design and visual communication. On paper, that means I've interned for an ad agency, done exhibit design for two museums, worked in marketing for a small business, and helped a non-profit with their annual reports, events, and fundraiser design needs. In real life, it means I've done everything from chalking a logo on a wall to holding a dinosaur skull during an overnight exhibit install. While I never got to be that professional basketball player, I got even more. I am someone who understands dreaming big, stepping back to see the reality, adjusting and making the most of every opportunity, getting to meet some fantastic and talented people, and the necessity of passion in creative work. I can't wait to partner with you to do all I can to help make your dreams happen.

Ask me to tell you about myself and I'll probably say something along the lines of "umm, I don't know? I'm a designer and I love spending time outside?" But ask me more specific questions and I probably won't stop talking until you tell me to stop.
So here are a few of my answers to questions you may or may not be asking:
––
I've been doing digital design ever since I taught myself how to use Photoshop in high school, after which I got two degrees in graphic design (bachelors and masters).
––
Mint chocolate chip.
––
I enjoy spending time outside and tend to get great creative inspiration when I'm interacting with nature.
––
Yes, I AM looking forward to working with you on creating the most impactful and beneficial visual representation for your business.

I hope this helps you get to know me just a little bit more, and I'm excited to get to know you soon, too!

Who me?!

It’s a hard question to answer, how much time do you have? I guess I’d say…

Vertically challenged, style chameleon, plant-based, avid hobby gardener, beagle lover, Cincinnati native, Northsider, DIYer, wife, step-mom, dog-mom, mixed-media artist, designer of graphics, websites, and spaces. Science and Information nerd. Idea generator. Classically Trained Chef (MWCI ’10). Plays “Chopped” at home, against herself. Loves to travel, but afraid of flying. Starting to ride my bicycle again.

But seriously, We all have a place in this world; we all have something unique to offer. My process is to spend time listening, learning, and understanding my client's business so I can be informed to help them create a presence that is truly theirs. Turn up the drum and bass and let’s go!

Ever since I was a child, one of my favorite things to do was talk. You could definitely say I’m the type of person who’s never met a stranger. That being said, I’ve been a social person my whole life, so you can imagine how much I love social media. Along with interacting with people, I love art and design. As a graphic designer with a focus in branding and social media, I love experimenting with the best ways to present people and their ideas through social media. With a strong desire to create and communicate, my goal is to help bring your creative ideas to life via the internet. Let’s chat soon!
